If you have a child who is just starting to get into audiobooks, I love audiobook short story collections.
It’s a big ask for a child new to audiobooks to sit through a 3 or 4 hour story, but a short 5-20 minute story is usually sufficient.
I really love audiobook-linked short story collections for kindergartners or preschoolers (or even younger – my kids started showing an interest in audiobooks around age 2.5 or 3!) because you can keep hearing stories from the same characters and you don’t have to keep switching to a new audiobook every five minutes.

15+ Best Audio Books for Kindergarten and Preschoolers

Read by the author, this is VERY enjoyable. They have fun music and I feel good every time I hear it in the car or playing at our house. I love every one of these sweet stories and my girls have listened to the entire collection a million times.
James Herriot’s Treasury for Children: Warm and Delightful Stories by James Herriot, read by Jim Dale
1.5 hours // 8 stories
I grew up on James Herriot – my mother was a big fan – and he introduced my daughter to his sweet stories about being a veterinarian on a farm. She gave us a collection aimed specifically at kids and it was truly amazing. And, just when you thought the story couldn’t get any better, it’s read by Jim Dale from the famous Harry Potter audiobooks. The Audible version currently costs less than $7.
Cowgirl Kate and Cocoa by Erica Silverman, read by Elizabeth Morton
10 minutes // 1 story
I bought this one a few years ago because it was $1.71 on Audible (still is!) and we had listened to this one in the car many times about Cowgirl Kate and her stubborn horse, Cocoa. It’s only ten minutes long, so it’s perfect for a quick drop-off to school or a quick errand.
Nate the Great Collected Stories by Marjorie Weinman Sharmat, read by John Lavelle

I remember Great Nate from when I was little and now my daughter loves this early mystery story too. The first collection has three stories and the second collection has four stories.
Luxurious Nancy Audio Collection by Jane O’Connor

By including 31 Fancy Nancy stories, this is a HUGE benefit to your audiobook collection. Plus, you don’t have to worry about pronouncing those few important words correctly!
Mouse Tales written and read by Arnold Lobel
30 minutes // 2 stories
I love Arnold Lobel as a writer and it turns out I love him as a reader too – he reads audio versions of most of his books! Mouse Stories always tickles my funny bone and I love hearing the author read these silly stories out loud. A great audiobook for young listeners!
The Mercy Watson Collection by Kate DiCamillo, read by Ron McLarty
40 minutes // 2 stories
There’s something very endearing about a couple who treats their pig like a child. My girls are obsessed with these books and I love that they are a little longer (more like 20 minutes for each story) and that each CD set or Audible set has 2 stories in it. On Audible, they currently cost about $6 each.
Winnie the Pooh by AA Milne
2 hours // 10 stories
This two-hour collection of the classic Winnie the Pooh stories is made as a full dramatization with original music and famous actors such as Judi Dench and Stephen Fry providing the voices of various characters. Really, this is amazing.
Ling and Ting: Not Quite the Same by Grace Lin, read by Angela Lin
10 minutes // 1 story
These stories about identical twin girls are very funny and sweet. They get along and love being twins, but they are NOT exactly the same. The perfect audiobook for kindergarten or preschool children.
The Complete Story of Beatrix Potter by Beatrix Potter
6 hours // 23 stories
This spectacular collection of Beatrix Potter stories – 23 in all – is a fun way to introduce your child to classic animal stories with full cast audio. (If you don’t mind missing some of the books, you can pick up this collection of 18 Beatrix Potter stories for 99 cents!)
Llama Llama Red Pajama and 19 Other Favorites by Anna Dewdney

This collection of 20 Llama Llama books is almost all read by the author and is perfect for quiet or bedtime listening.

Just when you thought Eloise couldn’t get any more epic, they bring in Bernadette Peters to tell this collection of stories.
The Princess in Black: Books 1-3 by Shannon Hale and Dean Hale

My girls absolutely LOVE it Princess in Black series and listening to it is just as enjoyable as reading it. Here are books 1 – 3 and books 4 – 6 are here. You probably know Julia Whelan because she narrates many super popular books, including Educated And The Great Alone.

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
